Return to the Centre – July 24th-26th 2009
A sacred journey to the heart of Turtle Island with Maestro Juan Flores of Peru
Join us as we visit Manito Ahbee (Where the Creator Sits) and partake in a very sacred ceremony led by Maestro Flores in what is considered by many indigenous people to be the most sacred site of Turtle Island (North America).
Friday, July 24th, 2PM – Bannock Point, Whiteshell Provincial Park: Meet at and set camp at Bannock Point. Get a tour by local guide Ron Bell. Ron is considered one the most knowledgeable people in regards to the sacredness of the site and the meaning of the various petraforms that mark it.
Saturday, July 25th – Hike to Tie Creek on the Mayan Day out of Time: After breakfast and packing up we will begin the hike to Tie Creek, the central location of the sacred site known as Manito Ahbee. We should arrive around lunch-time. We will set camp and have another tour by Ron of the site. In the afternoon Maestro Flores will lead a discussion about Ayahuasca, plant medicines and the realization of Prophecy at this time in the World's history. After sundown the Maestro will lead an Ayahuasca ceremony well into the night.
Tie Creek is the centre point of the Manito Ahbee sacred site. The site is actually a multiple kilometer Medicine Wheel built on the Canadian Shield rock face and forest. It is not a well-known site and it is currently protected by a 10-acre barbed wire fence. It is considered a very ancient university of spiritual things for the indigenous people of Turtle Island. Some believe it is their Genesis Point. It is found in the centre of North America and has the most complete collection and variety of petraforms found on the continent. It is a very powerful spot and an honour to visit it. Even more special is to be part of a Maestro Flores guided ceremony at the site, which is guaranteed to be an experience to remember.
Sunday, July 26th – Leave Manito Ahbee: After Breakfast/Brunch, and some more time at the sacred site, we pack up and hike back the cars. The retreat is over at this time.
